Rachio App Compatibility

Power Requirements
The Rachio controller must be connected to the AC power adapter included. DC Transformers are not supported.

Internet Requirements
This Rachio controller requires a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi internet connection (802.11 b/g/n).
Supported Wi-Fi encryption standards:
- WPA2 (recommended)
- WPA
Enterprise-level encryption is NOT supported. We recommend internet connections with a 1 Mb or higher upload speed for optimal performance. In the event of a Wi-Fi outage or intermittency, the controller’s memory retains the last saved schedule received from the Rachio cloud and maintains the schedule until an update can be downloaded ( more info here).
