Can Flow Meter take air flowing through it the wrong way

@Owenstire No issues with winterizing in either direction. The Wireless Flow Meter is meant to be left on during the off-season. More information can be found in the following articles.

Homekit support, get setup code

@Owenstire The code is actually found in your app under More > Controller Settings > HomeKit

High-Flow Detected

@Mistak You’ve got a couple of options in this situation. If there is variability in the drip line rate, you can increase the High-Flow trigger threshold so that it’s a little less sensitive to this change via Edit Zone -> Flow Settings. Turn off Auto Shut Off so that even though your zone may tri…

See soil moisture of zones without schedules?

@terminator You should be able to set a schedule End Date in the past. This will stop the schedule from running and still give you soil moisture, but please don’t forget that you did this!

Low flow alert not received

@crc2004 We currently check at the pressurization time to look for leaks and blockages. This would have been caught on the next run. I am working with the team to figure out some additional checks during the run which would have caught your issue.

Change grass type

Go to the zone and click edit, then you can select Zone Type and change to Cool Season Grass.

Scheduled Run Time Different from Actual Run Time

@Fubdap Scheduled time is the amount of time the system was supposed to run. Actual time is scheduled time minus weather skips. The weather skip saved about 90 minutes of watering.

Gen3 schedule didn’t run (due to rain sensor)

Can you let me know the brand? We have a few different sensor wiring setups for the different types --> https://support.rachio.com/hc/en-us/categories/115001606387-Sensors

Wireless Flow Meter Distance From Controller

@Bgman In our tests, we have included obstructions as a part of the environment. In my case, I was able to pair from a controller in my basement, through a neighbor’s house and another 100 feet to a park. If wifi can reach through this space our long-range radio will do even better.

Flow Sensor physical dimensions

6" x 2.5" x 3.25". For future reference, a lot of this information can be found on the bottom of this page --> https://www.rachio.com/wireless-flow-meter

Wireless flow sensor

@Browell21 The flow range for our wireless flow meter is .5 - 25.0 GPM.

New seed

@Sean13 We currently have an hourly interval option under Fixed Schedule -> Hourly Interval. It provides you the option to water every hour, 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours. By moving your seed zones into this schedule, you can provide consistent moisture for those seedlings.

Gen 3 Flow Meter Zone shutoff?

The Wireless Flow meter detects a leak within 45 seconds of the valve opening. This delay is due to the systems need to pressurize before we fully validate our flow reading. Once the leak is detected, the shut off is nearly instant. We do have an option to disable Auto Shut Off per zone, thus one w…
