I didn’t have a ton of room but installed 4 in PVC around the flow meter to keep dirt and mulch off it. Everything seems to be working great since install about a month ago.

Just installed the all new Rachio 3 it was a really smooth transition from Gen 2 my new Rachio 3 was up and running within 15-20 minutes no hick ups with Wi-Fi like many others have in this community thank you Rachio now waiting on my flow meter.

I thought that I would add to this thread with my successful flow meter install. My system uses 1" PVC. I used a PVC cutter to snip out a section of pipe and secured the meter in place with PVC-lock connectors.

Woohoo! With your help, the problem is solved. I tried Timber’s suggestion and actually tried it without the phone entirely and it went online. I also turned off one of the routers to make sure it’s getting a signal from only source and it went online.

@franz -After the 8th activation/deactivation notification in the first day, I’ve decided to turn off the sensor in the app until I can get a tall ladder and reach the sensor to take it apart and clean it. Thanks for your help.
