Very hand man fixing things around the house (fixed AC myself 3 times (mostly cap issue), rebuilt toilet, sink, etc), installed a Nest and Ring products, but everything else wired Ethernet.
Wired devices are far superior for ease of connection and reliability. It would be 10 min of effort to run a CAT cable to my sprinkler controller.
