Previously had written my own custom program to water lawn, because I came up with an idea to cycle through all my zones multiple times to prevent pooling and run-off. Used that on an arduino based system, and moved to raspberry pi. It died so I bought the Rachio 3, since it was one of the only ones that I saw that would “Smart Cycle” AND has an API in case I need to go back to my custom control…
