Smart turn on from rain sensor

In the SW it may rain 0.02” of rain, is there a way to have the controller sense the rain sensor and have it turn on my sprinklers. I want to do this since the ground just got some moisture and I thought is would be beneficial if I could add several more minutes while humidity is high and evaporation is less.
