Smart Lighting Controller: Recommended LEDs

This is a new lighting installation, and I need to select LEDs for the system. I can see some use for dimmable LEDs, but it’s not strictly necessary. I’d love to hear your experiences with various brands/models of LEDs to help me decide which to buy.

Hello @JimW42 again. I have used ones that I have found at a thrift store without any problems (a couple plastic, but mostly metal fixtures). I really do not like the plastic ones. I also got some from the local Lowe’s / Home Depot (forgot which). The bulk came from a local person on Facebook Marketplace that they bought from Amazon, I believe, and then changed what they wanted to do (could not return). I really had no qualms about any of them as long as they were metal & glass fixtures. The thing I liked about the ones I got from the big box DIY store was the adjustability to get the right color temperature and beam width (as appropriate). The brands did not matter to me. They definitely can get quite expensive.

Happy to help in whatever way that I can. Correctly the spelling of one word in my last post. FYI: The bulk of mine are pathway lights, with a couple of floods on a rock wall and a couple of spots on a water feature.
