Smart Hose Hub for 5 ghz modem

I have two Smart Hose Model SHV101 with HUB101. The HUB only works with 2.5 ghz modem. Is there a new HUB that communicates with 5 ghz modem? If not, what is a work-around to use with my Rachio 3 Controller?

The hub will only communicate with 2.4ghz routers. There are no later versions for 5ghz

Can your router broadcast a 2.4ghz network? Most dual band routers will allow you to broadcast 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

Thanks - My ATT modem router BGW-320 does connect to both 2.4 and 5ghz. I could not get the HUB101 to connect to this new modem. However, I had a 2.4ghz modem last year with different network name. Luckily, I had a 2nd HUB101 that was never used. I plugged it in next the the modem and it automatically connected with both of my Smart Hose devices. Yeah! No idea how to reset the HUB previously connected with older 2.4ghz modem.

Ok good to hear! Odd that it didn’t work with the different router. Glad you got it connected.
