Is there Apple Homekit support for the Smart Hose Timer

post by Turley on May 3, 2023

I see that the Rachio 3 is supported by Apple HomeKit but I don’t see that the WiFi Hub/Smart Hose Timer is. Is that true or did I miss something in how to set that up?

Rachio is not HomeKit compatible. They had to backtrack on that statement due to it not working. They gave up on it. Let’s hope the same mistake isn’t made with this new hose timer.

Has there been any progress on this? I bought the hose timer specifically to control misters on my back patio and if I can’t do it from my smart watch I might as well return all this kit.

The hose timer doesn’t say it’s HomeKit compatible, so I wouldn’t hold your breath on it after the debacle with the controllers.
