Installation issue

Having issues with the install, this is a picture of the Hunter pro-c wiring diagram. I only have three zones in my yard. I can’t seem to figure out why I can’t get my zones activate. I’m using the green wire as the com, yellow as zone 1, light blue as zone 2 and black as zone 3. Not sure if that is correct.

Disregard, I figured it out. It’s red white blue wires… Merica!!

Yes, as you know C=green, 1=red, 2=white, and 3=blue. On the old controller, what are the wires hooked to 4-10, just unconnected (at the other end) spares?

Correct, spare zones.

Great, I do not think I would hook them all up, but would not cut them either (probably would wrap them around the insulation of the wire bundle. Anyway, good work!

I capped them off and made a wire diagram which I posted to the back side of the cover.
