Hose Valve Hub WiFi

When mesh network restarts from power outage my hose valve hub misconnects.
The first mesh node to come online is the parent inside the house. The hub connects to it with a marginal poor signal. The garage child node comes online but the hub doesn't connect to it even though it's 10 ft from it.
Rebooting the hub in the app doesn't help. I have to power cycle the hub to get it to connect to the closer mesh point.
Fix ??

Try assigning a static or permanent IP address in your router.
