Gen 3 WiFi/Internet Requirements

I just bought and installed the Costco Rachio 3 today. Everything went smoothly and the app is pretty straightforward. I searched some topics on this and I’m just trying to verify my Rachio 3 capabilities. As I understand it, I can use this unit without WiFi by using the built-in wifi system. I can setup schedules and stuff. Without Internet I lose the weather capabilities and probably the zone map stuff. Is this correct? Thank you.
