Flowmec Meter Compatibility?

Hey All - I’ve never had a sprinkler system. Just got a new home with an outdated setup.
I’m planning to buy a Rachio 3 and a flow meter. For the flow meter, Rachio suggests that the “Flowmec QS200-10” is compatible.
My question is — is this flow meter just as compatible as the “EveryDrop” flow meters which Rachio seems to sell? Like, will all the same features (eg.,alert notifications) and integration to the Rachio app work well with this Flowmec unit?
