Flow meter install

Your installation guide for the Gen 3 Flow Meter recommends using Sharkbite connections. My back-flow pipes are sch40 PVC. Since your flow meter is ABS could I just cement the meter onto my pipes?

Disregard this question. My local plumbing codes do not allow direct joining (cement) of PVC to ABS. So I’ll use the Sharkbites …
