Is the flow meter data used by the rachio3 to determine when and how long to water?

Not currently, here is the feature list for the flow meter.

That’s disappointing, but now that I know this, I’ve computed the nozzle inches per hour (from the calibrated flow and the zone’s area)—and updated each zone. All but one of my zones had understated nozzle inches per hour.

Agree. I don’t see the advantage of the current features for a small system.
