Does ET rate include evaporation from soil surface?

For the ET rate in the daily flex schedule, does it consider evaporation from soil surface? Do I need to adjust schedule for zones with mulch and without mulch? Thanks.

Yes, it includes evaporation. Mulch is only used with shrubs and trees and such, and their lower Crop Coefficient takes that into account.
