Auto Shutoff Failure

Rachio 3 with Everydrop 1004-ex flow meter. Running for over three years.

I have flow monitoring enabled on a zone and it failed to activate when a line disconnected causing substantial damage on a 4.5h drip line run. Flow monitoring has worked in the past for me.

I confirmed that flow monitoring is enabled and had an upper limit of 12LPM. I ran a calibration in the damaged state and got flow of 38.9LPM. Logging for the run in App says it used ~9000L instead of typical 25L, suggesting App was aware of high flow and just failed to activate. Did notice that weather intelligence trigger fired right after schedule started indicating it wouldn’t skip run. Weather Intelligence shouldn’t interfere with flow monitoring, but perhaps related.

Given controller was aware of high usage, suspect software bug and flagging for attention.

Pretty severe issue causing significant cost in water and damage.
