Amazon, multiple devices issue

I have one rachio. I have 5 Amazon devices (alexa, echo etc). Only one of my echos works with rachio, the others say that I need to download and activate rachio. Although I keep doing that rachio still only ever works with the one echo. Any thoughts?

Are all your Alexa devices on the same Amazon account?

Normally all my Alexa devices are on my wife’s account and that is where all the Smarthome skills are loaded.

If I tell Alexa to "switch accounts", when I’m in my account, Alexa will not recognize any of the skills that do work when in my wife’s account.
